Liver Health Foundation is dedicated to improving liver health in Uganda through a comprehensive approach that includes prevention, treatment, education, and community support. Our initiatives are designed to address the unique challenges faced by the Ugandan population and to create sustainable health improvements. By working closely with local communities, healthcare providers, and policymakers, we aim to reduce the burden of liver disease and enhance the overall well-being of individuals across the country.
Our prevention programs are focused on reducing the incidence of liver disease through education and proactive health measures:
Conducting widespread campaigns to raise awareness about liver disease risk factors and prevention strategies.
Implementing vaccination initiatives, particularly for Hepatitis B, to protect at-risk populations.
Providing regular health screenings and promoting early detection to catch liver diseases in their initial stages.
We work to improve access to quality treatment and care for individuals affected by liver disease:
Education is a cornerstone of our efforts to combat liver disease in Uganda:
Supporting communities is vital to our mission of improving liver health:
Facilitating support groups for individuals and families affected by liver disease to share experiences and offer mutual support.
Training and deploying community health workers to provide liver health education and support at the grassroots level.
Distributing educational materials, health supplies, and other resources to communities in need.
